Ever since Lidia can remember, she has always been exposed to Chinese Medicine. Her mother would always use Chinese herbs over Western medicine to treat common ailments such as colds.
Prior to Lidia pursuing a career in Holistic medicine, she was studying Psychology and Health Science at Simon Fraser University. Over the duration of her course, she started to suffer from back pain attributed to long periods of sitting and being idle. She began seeing an Acupuncturist and within a few treatments, the back pain started to subside. Inspired by the healing abilities of Acupuncture and recalling the impact of her mother’s herbs, she decided to start delving into Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Lidia graduated from PCU College of Holistic Medicine where she obtained her diploma in Acupuncture. After graduation, she travelled to Tianjin, China, to intern at the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital. While in China, she studied under the hospital’s head doctor furthering her knowledge of TCM.
Currently, she is a registrant of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).
Lidia has a special interest in pain management, stress, gynecological conditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine Food Therapy (Shi Liao) and facial rejuvenation.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, hiking and cooking delicious meals.
Lidia also speaks fluent Spanish and Catalan.
