When you book an appointment, please fill out the 'online intake form' and provide as much information as you can.  Know that I run exactly on time, if you are late, the remaining time is what will be utilized for your appointment.  If you would like a 75 minute or a 90 minute session, please send me an email at: askyourrmt@gmail.com so I can accommodate your preference as my online availability allots for 60 minute and less options.

Please note that I have a 24 hr. cancellation policy.  You have reserved my time with you, which I respect.  Please respect my time and provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel.  The time slot which you have booked may no longer work for you, however, it may work for someone else who needs it.  Forms of payment include direct billing with Telus eHealth companies, BC & Alberta Blue Cross, ICBC, Greenshield, RCMP/Veterans, all credit cards, debit, Apple Pay, etransfer and cash.

Education and Training

I am a 2008 graduate of the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program and a 2005 graduate of the 1200 hour Spa Practitioner program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in BC.  Following a postural assessment I incorporate a variety of techniques such as:

  • Fascial Release
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Muscle Energy Techniques
  • Swedish Techniques
  • Trigger Point Release
  • Passive/Active Stretching

I provide appropriate remedial exercises with you creating a proactive role on your behalf.  Most commonly, but not limited to, I treat clients with a range of issues which include:

  • Sciatic-like pain/piriformis syndrome
  • Muscle strains
  • Shoulder/rotator cuff injuries
  • Frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis
  • Sore necks/low back/upper back
  • Plantar fascitis/ heel spurs
  • ITB/IT Band Syndrome

More recently, I am a graduate of the 160 hour therapist training of The Dr. Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Compression Bandaging.
